Trick or treat? The most terrifying night of the year is close. Would you like to surprise your kids with a unique Halloween menu? Write down these ideas to make a meal to die for!

Monster spaghetti

A Halloween dish that both children and adults will love is delicious spaghetti just the way they like it: with irresistible tomato sauce and monster decorations. To make it just like the photo, you can use Gallo’s spaghetti No. 3 and pour the previously heated tomato sauce with parmesan cheese over the cooked pasta. To achieve the terrifying look, pour the sauce only in the centre of the pasta, cut two provolone slices to make the eyes, add the blood lines with slices of red pepper and use two black olives for the pupils. Ready to eat!

Halloween pizza

Pizza is many kids’ favourite meal. And that’s no surprise! Have you got what it takes to make a delicious homemade Halloween pizza? The best thing about this recipe is that it can have as many variations as you can imagine. But, if you need a little inspiration, here’s a good idea. Make the pizza dough with bread flour: don’t forget to let it ferment. Once the dough has doubled in size, spread it into a circle. Add the tomato sauce and a layer of grated mozzarella on top. To make a truly terrifying design, you can add slices of cheese in the shape of ghosts and add two pieces of black olives to make their eyes. You can also add other bits of black olives to make spiders. Then, place it in the oven until the dough is cooked and the cheese is golden. That’s your Halloween pizza! Are you ready to make your own?

Halloween muffins

As we already have two main dishes, it’s time to start thinking about dessert. How about some delicious Halloween muffins? There are endless recipes to make this tasty dessert. On this occasion, the secret doesn’t lie so much in the making of the muffin, but in its decorations. Don’t forget to use special cake flour because, without a doubt, it will make all the difference. To decorate the muffins with the Halloween theme, you can use orange frosting and use chocolate decorations that you can find in supermarkets in the shape of spiderwebs, ghosts, pumpkins, etc. Another simple idea is to add bits of white and dark chocolate to make eyes.

Halloween cookies

As Halloween is the time for sweets, here’s another simple idea: Halloween cookies. To make them you’ll have to get special cookie cutters in the shape of pumpkins, skulls, ghosts, etc. But, if you don’t have any cookie cutters at hand, you can draw a template on paper to use when cutting your cookies. And if you have a creative streak, you can add a bit of colour to your Halloween cookies by using a colourful fondant to decorate them.
